Guyana: Its Culture, Its People Art Exhibition Bruce reports that there were some very interesting pieces in the "Guyana: Its Culture, Its People" Art Exhibition featuring the Guyana Women's Artists Association, a Guyana-based group. During his tour of the exhibition at the Scarborough Civic Centre in July, Bruce was very pleased to be introduced to Jean McCowan, a very talented artist now living in Calgary (only the second time he's ever "accidently" met another "McCowan"!). The other Canadian / local artists showing were Syble Douglas, Joan Muss and Irma Isaacs. The other artists were from Guyana.
